  • Heat Reflective
  • Low Maintenance
  • Easy to Clean

What is an acrylic coating overlay?

The process was developed to restore existing concrete surfaces, including a crack treatment system.  The technique is applying acrylic cement over your existing concrete.  It is a two layer process.  Layer one is the simulated grout lines in the finished floor.   Layer two is the stones in the finished floor.  Then the floor is hand colored and sealed.  Flooring is the most common application.  All projects but water features are applied in this manner.
Is it durable? Yes!  Most acrylic coatings are 2 to 3 times stronger of existing concrete.  Ours is 7200 pounds per square inch (psi) in strength & virtually stain proof.  Your existing concrete on average is 2500 psi.
How longs does the process take? The process takes 3 to 5 days depending on the size of your job.  The average install of 1000 ft will take 5 days.

What about maintenance and a warranty?

The only maintenance on your floor is to reseal it occasionally.  The manufacturer of our sealer recommends that you reseal every two years.   We offer a 2 year warranty.  If you reseal within 2 years we extend your warranty 2 more years. With resealing your warranty can last up to 10 years.   We do offer the sealer for sale if you would like to do it yourself.

Is it like 'Kool Deck'?

Kool deck is a brand name for pool decking that can only be applied to fresh uncured concrete.  It cannot be installed over existing surfaces.  Our product is similar to Kool Deck, but just a tad warmer.

Are floors slippery?

Product was designed originally to recoat pool decking, so product was designed to be anti-slip.  However for added customer satisfaction we add an anti-slip agent to our final coat of sealer.
